We originally launched Tanya’s website in January 2018. The site featured a custom post type for testimonials and a WordPress-powered gallery for her portfolio.

In early 2025, Tanya approached us for a rebrand and redesign. We were thrilled to work with her on the new site. Our goal was to create a modern, visually stunning website that reflected her new branding and logo. We focused on delivering a unified design and smooth user experience, while maintaining Tanya’s warm and approachable tone. This was achieved through a warmer colour palette and refreshed copy.

For the portfolio, we built a solution that’s easy for Tanya to update, while keeping compatibility with her existing WordPress galleries. We combined her current gallery setup with an additional gallery powered by Secure Custom Fields (SCF). Testimonials retained their original structure, but we simplified the backend editor for easier use.

The Solution

We used WordPress, Elementor, and SCF, along with custom coding. This seamlessly integrated SCF with the existing WordPress galleries. Our priority was to ensure Tanya could manage and update her own site.

Since Elementor adds extra load, we implemented performance optimizations, including caching and image compression, to keep the site fast and efficient.
