PowerDMARC for Email Sending and Security
Web242 Media is pleased to announce we have partnered with PowerDMARC, a leading email authentication and security platform. DMARC stands for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance. DMARC is a current standard for email sending, adopted by Google and Yahoo, among others.
What does this mean?
If you have POP or IMAP email, it is more important than ever that you have a valid and authenticated DMARC policy in place for your domain. Combined with SPF and DKIM, a proper and valid DMARC policy helps to:
- Prevent spoofed emails
- Prevent issues related to email sending
- Prevent fake invoices and company emails
- Prevent login credential theft
- Protect your organization’s reputation
- Boost email reach, trust, and deliverability
What happens if I don’t have DMARC?
If you don’t have a valid DMARC policy in place, your email may be rejected by Yahoo, Google, and organizations using Microsoft. In other words, you won’t be able to send email from your POP or IMAP accounts to people using these email providers.
Without proper DMARC, DKIM and SPF, at minimum your email will end up in recipients’ spam and junk folders. Your domain may be also flagged as a spam sender, or even be susceptible to phishing and spoofed email attacks. Protect you and your clients now!

- Setup of your PowerDMARC account and control panel
- Installation of PowerDMARC DNS records (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC)
- Validation and testing of added PowerDMARC records
- Enforcement of DMARC Authentication (None, Quarantine, or Reject)
- Adding optional MTA-STS, TLS-RPT and BIMI records
- Basic monthly reporting (Optional PDF Reports)
What is the cost?
As a Web242 client, your Basic PowerDMARC account is available for only CAD $15/month per domain, including PowerDMARC Hosted DNS (setup, validation, and ongoing support). If you have 2 or more domains, the service is available for CAD $10/month per domain.
There is also a non-refundable CAD $50 setup fee per domain. This includes: setting up your PowerDMARC account, adding DNS records, and DNS validation (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC).
P.S. The CAD $50 setup fee is waived if you pay annually and sign up before Sept. 30th, 2024.
